1st Class Winter Car Protection for Bristol, Bath & the South Cotswolds.

With Winter approaching, it is time to get your car protected & maintained from the road salt and winter grime before that bad weather hits.
The salt used to prevent our roads freezing is corrosive and will damage your car if left unprotected. Without proper protection, this damage occurs directly on your paintwork. The job of the Winter Protection is to provide a sacrificial layer to try and prevent this salt damage. It also brings the added bonuses of making your car look better, and easier to clean.
Our Winter Protection Valets are available now from 1st Class Car Valeting. This is a comprehensive package, and covers every aspect of your car's exterior, including the glass for the duration of the winter season.
Vehicle Size Guide
Class 1 - Most 2 seaters & smaller hatchbacks e.g. Audi TT, Mazda MX5, Jaguar F-type, BMW Z4, Mercedes AMG GT, Porsche Boxster, Ford Focus ST, Mini, bmw 1 & 3 series, Tesla model 3, Mercedes C class, Audi A3/A4, etc.
Class 2 - Estate vehicles and Smaller 4x4's e.g. Volvo xc 40 xc60, BMW Touring, BMW X3, Ford Kuga, Range Rover Evoque, Audi Q3 & Q5, Tesla model Y, Range Rover Vogue, Double cab pick ups etc...
Class 3 - 7 Seaters & larger 4x4's e.g. Audi Q7, Mercedes GLS, BMW X5, Land Rover Discovery, Volvo xc90, Tesla X etc

Winter Protection Gold External Valet (2.5+ hours)
This valet provides protection to your paintwork; it will also protect your wheel faces and glass. To further protect your vehicle from road salt and winter grime why not add our winter maintenance valets, an ideal way to protect your vehicle throughout the winter months.
• Wheel faces deep cleaned.
• Wheels arches treated then pressure rinsed.
• Paintwork snow foamed to remove traffic film and grime.
• Vehicle rinsed.
• Body work & wheels decontaminated using ph neutral fallout treatment to remove bonded contamination, clay bar used if required.
• Tar spots removed from body work.
• Vehicle shampooed.
• Paintwork wiped down to remove any polishing oils left over, ensuring the best possible bond for the protection products.
• A layer of wheel wax applied to the alloy wheel faces and buffed off.
• Paintwork protected with a durable winter wax designed to give around six month’s protection.
• Plastic trim dressed with a durable dressing that will protect for weeks and weeks, not days.
• Tyres cleaned & dressed.
• Door seals dressed to avoid sticking/freezing.
• Rain repellent applied to windscreen & headlights.
• Screen wash topped up (max 5 litres)
• ADD an internal valet from our main service menu.

This valet provides protection to your paintwork; it will also protect your wheel faces and glass. To further protect your vehicle from road salt and winter grime why not add our winter maintenance valets, an ideal way to protect your vehicle throughout the winter months.
• Outer wheel faces & inner rims deep cleaned.
• Outer wheel faces & wheel arches treated then pressure rinsed.
• Engine bay degreased & then dressed.
• Under chassis clean to remove road salt & traffic grime.
• Bonnet & boot shuts cleaned.
• Paintwork snow foamed to remove traffic film and grime.
• Vehicle rinsed.
• Body work & wheels decontaminated using ph neutral fallout treatment to remove bonded contamination, clay bar used if required.
• Tar spots removed from body work.
• Vehicle shampooed.
• Paintwork wiped down to remove any polishing oils left over, ensuring the best possible bond for the protection products.
